El escalamiento de violencia en su contra por parte de polic\u00edas y otras autoridades ha llevado a que sean v\u00edctimas de:<\/p><p style=\"font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\">\u25aa\ufe0f Golpes y fuerza excesiva.<br \/>\u25aa\ufe0f Violencia sexual y de g\u00e9nero.<br \/>\u25aa\ufe0f Amenazas verbales e intimidaci\u00f3n.<br \/>\u25aa\ufe0f Terror a ser desaparecidas.<br \/>\u25aa\ufe0f Detenci\u00f3n arbitraria.<br \/>\u25aa\ufe0f Abuso verbal y f\u00edsico.<\/p><h3 style=\"font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\">En nuestro Informe\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold;\">\u201cLa Era de las Mujeres. Estigma y violencia contra mujeres que protestan\u201d<\/span>, documentamos 4 manifestaciones y la obstaculizaci\u00f3n para realizar una de ellas, <span style=\"color: #808080;\">(<em>1)<\/em><\/span> todas en 2020.<\/h3><div>\u00a0<\/div><p style=\"font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\">Con la investigaci\u00f3n confirmamos que las autoridades no respetaron los derechos humanos de las mujeres -entre las que hab\u00eda ni\u00f1as y adolescentes- a la reuni\u00f3n, libertad de expresi\u00f3n, a la integridad personal, a no sufrir tortura u otros malos tratos y en definitiva a vivir libres de violencia.<\/p><p style=\"font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold;\">Las manifestaciones fueron reprimidas por polic\u00edas, quienes usaron la violencia f\u00edsica, verbal y sexual como herramienta para castigar y aleccionar a las mujeres que se atrevieron a salir a las calles a manifestarse en solidaridad con otras mujeres.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\">Adem\u00e1s, las mujeres manifestantes han sido estigmatizadas por parte de las autoridades como violentas.
